3D X-Ray Scanner instruments is a powerful tool that can ‘see through’ artifact/object, revealing unseen information such as unexposed, embedded particular or fractures without destroying or damaging it. The 3D X-Ray Scanning system is equipped with a mechanical detector and stage that can hold up to 30 kg, with object size up to 60 x 60 x 60 cm. The output of 3D x-ray images are exported and viewed with VG Studio software.

We also offer handheld 3D scanner that is able to obtain 3D model information of an artifact on-site. The instruments are capable to perform a 3D scanning process of various sizes from small (such as teeth) to large objects (such as tusk). The 3D point accuracy ranges from 0.05-0.1mm and resolution ranges from 0.1-0.5mm. This instrument help researcher to meet their objectives either for documentation, failure analysis, quality control, product replication and so on.
